Zofia Jakóbczak

I am an archivist by profession and a librarian by education. Privately, I am a mother. I love cycling, walking, canoeing and reading good books. I also run a literary blog. I enjoy discovering curiosities from Lublin’s past. I am actively involved in various cycling events. For several years I have also been dealing with the history of the bicycle in Lublin. I am a co-founder of the Lublin Retro Cyclists Society — a group of enthusiasts of vintage bicycles who collect information related to them and discover the forgotten world of cyclists in our city and region. I talk about the forgotten world of cyclists during my original walks, but not only. I also show the city from an unusual perspective and reveal dark alleys, old factories and fun houses to tourists. Stories from real life, spiced up.
