The Olive Restaurant in the Ilan Hotel has been opened since 2013. It serves Jewish and Polish dishes. It is a place closely related to Jewish tradition, as it is located in the historical building of Chachmei Lublin Yeshiva – the former biggest and most prestigious rabbinical school in the world. The restaurant’s offer and character refers to Lublin, and especially to its part of history connected to the former Jewish district. It is a place where guests will taste the best dishes prepared according to over 100 years old recipes like years ago in the kitchen of a Jewish family in the Old Town but served in new arrangements. Thanks to the visit to the restaurant, guests have a chance to learn more about Jewish culture and its influence on the history of the city. The dishes are complemented by a wide range of wines, including Israeli ones. The menu abounds in Jewish dishes, which are an inseparable part of traditional Lublin cuisine.
