Program skierowany jest zarówno do osób zawodowo zajmujących się oprowadzaniem grupowym lub indywidualnym jak i tych, którzy to zajęcie traktują jako dodatkowe. Wyłonienie uczestników Programu nastąpi na podstawie trójetapowego procesu weryfikacji prowadzonego przez zespół ekspertów. Osoby wyróżnione specjalnym tytułem będą gwarantowały profesjonalizm w przybliżaniu historii i dziedzictwa miasta, ale też zaproponują odkrywanie Lublina na nowo w oparciu o unikatowe oferty. Koncepcja Programu „Przewodnicy Inspiracji” wynika z założeń przyjętych w Strategii Rozwoju Turystyki Miasta Lublin do 2025 roku oraz Strategii Marki Lublin.

The first stage of the verification procedure assumes that people willing to take part in the Programme will apply via the Application Form, which is available for download at www.przewodnik.lublin.eu. Participants qualified for the second stage will take a test to check their general knowledge of Lublin’s history and basic knowledge of the city’s tourist and cultural offer. People who have previously undergone the guide training ending with an examination are exempted from this stage. The third stage of qualifying for the Programme will be conducted by the Programme Committee, which will make a final evaluation of the submitted tourist offer in relation to the Programme objectives and criteria during an individual walk.

What are the benefits of becoming the Guide of Inspiration?

  • The prestigious title of the Guide of Inspiration given to him on behalf of the City of Lublin;
  • presentation of the Guide of Inspiration bio along with a description of its tourist offer placed on a dedicated portal www.przewodnik.lublin.eu managed and promoted by the Lublin Municipal Office;
  • inclusion in the plan of marketing activities aimed at promoting the tourist offer of the City of Lublin;
  • participation in many meetings, trainings and initiatives implemented in the Programme.

How to become a Guide of Inspiration?

Qualification procedure in 4 steps:

  1. APPLICATION – Please read the Guides of Inspiration Programme Regulations, fill in the Application Form and send it back to the Organiser (deadlines for submission of applications will be posted and updated on the website).
    The Applicant should submit the duly completed and signed Application Form in paper version to the Tourism Development Bureau of the Lublin Municipal Office at Filaretów 44 Str. or by post (the date of receipt by the Bureau is decisive).
  2. TEST OF KNOWLEDGE OF THE CITY – the Organiser will notify the persons who have been qualified for the second step of the general knowledge test of the city before the expiry of the deadline (notification dates will be placed and updated on the website). After receiving instructions from the Organiser, the participant will have two weeks to take the test, the result of which will be immediately communicated to him/her after completing all answers.
    Attention: Persons who have undergone the guide training to the City of Lublin ended with an examination are exempted from stage two and automatically move on to step three.
  3. WALK WITH THE PROGRAMME COMMITTEE – the Organiser will contact persons who have been qualified for the third stage and jointly set the date of the walk with the Programme Committee to evaluate the submitted Tourist Offer.
  4. NOTIFICATION OF THE GUIDES OF INSPIRATIONPROGRAMME PARTICIPANTS – and signing cooperation agreements.
