The walk allows to discover a complicated but interesting history of the Jews of Lublin. The city was famous throughout Eastern Europe for rabbis and books.
The walk aims at showing the participants the most important places where life in old Lublin went on in a cumulative way. Currently, besides being a place of the residents’ meetings, these are the areas used for some cultural events. The history of selected squares will be told. Attention will be paid to existing and non-existing buildings that marked the layout of the squares or gave them characteristic features. A place primarily owes its atmosphere to the presence of people, and the events associated with them. In the squares people from various social groups met, a trade took place, people participated in demonstrations or holy masses, they experienced joy and tragedies of life.
While walking along the streets of Lublin, passersby's attention is focused primarily on the appearance of the buildings as a whole. When passing buildings, you usually don't have time for an in-depth observing and analysis of the richness of some facades. Meanwhile, the wealth of architectural details in Lublin can delight. An architectural detail, a small detail decorating a tenement house, is often hidden in its interior, in the gate, in the staircase or in the apartment. It sometimes happens that a detail is placed above eye level, decorating the cornice crowning the building at the height of the top floor.
This walk is the second part of a series of 3 walking tours that follow the route of Lublin's monuments. Participants will get to know the circumstances of their creation and the interesting facts related to them. They will learn more about their creators and initiators. Perhaps, they will create a new monument committee...

This walk is the third part of a series of 3 walking tours that follow the route of Lublin's monuments. However, even those who decide to walk all three routes will not see all Lublin monuments. An attractive, dynamic form of sightseeing. It allows you to get to know the city from an unusual perspective and access more interesting places. It ensures close contact with what is happening in Lublin here and now, not only with monuments and museums. It allows you to reach less frequently promoted objects, as well as interesting ones such as widely open attractions. We also use all the advantages of cycling - the joy of life, movement, freedom, purchase, dynamics, financial availability, integration. When we want to stop over - we fasten the bike to a nearby stand and go where we want.

You will get to know where they came from and what was their specificity. The guide will tell you what then residents thought about the causes of the epidemics, as well as how they defended against them. The scenario of the walk includes the stories about doctors and social activists who fought against these dangerous diseases and tried to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants by popularising hygiene or creating hospitals and shelters.

It's both a walk and a live performance. Wandering through the streets of the city, we learn about its history and participants become spectators when the guide turns into a storyteller of Lublin legends and takes them on a journey through time. My original walk, which I have been taking privately for several years, always meets positive emotions, and is remembered for a long time.
In Lublin, you can find many masterpieces of the painting of nationwide or even worldwide significance. Painting is associated mainly with a technique of picture on canvas and in the decorative frames. In the city, the paintings adorn the walls of many churches and tenement houses. Frescos and a rare technique of monumental art - sgraffito – were also used outside the buildings. The aim of the walk is to familiarize the visitors with the most beautiful and interesting paintings in Lublin, coming from different eras and made in various technologies - from the flagship Rutheno-Byzantine frescoes in the Holy Trinity Chapel to the modernist mosaics and contemporary murals, which are rarely shown to the participants of Lublin tours.
