Lublin had been the capital of Poland for half a year before Warsaw was liberated. Ironically, the downfall of the communistic regime was triggered by the July strikes of 1980 in Lublin and its surroundings. On this unique walk through the legacy of Polish socialism, you will visit places in Lublin connected with our socialist past.
Majdanek Concentration Camp Tour

Learn about the history of Majdanek Concentration Camp and its relation to Lublin during a private guided tour. The camp operated between the 1st October 1941 and the 22nd July 1944. Approximately 80,000 prisoners were killed there by the Germans. Why was Majdanek built so close to Lublin? What was daily life like for the prisoners?
